Connect Google Business Profile

Bring Google locations, reviews, and reply access into the correct Acerite workspace.

9 min read · Written for business teams
In plain English

The Google connection allows Acerite to receive reviews for the locations your Google account manages and, when permitted, publish approved replies back to Google.

Business result

Your team can monitor and respond from one controlled workspace instead of checking every Google location separately.

Best for

The person who already manages the business locations in Google Business Profile.

Before you connect

Why this matters: The most common connection problem is using a Google account that can see the business but does not have enough permission to manage it.

  • Use a Google account with access to the required business locations.
  • Confirm that the Google location names and addresses are current.
  • Create the matching locations in Acerite first.
  • Allow the sign-in window and return to Acerite after approving Google access.

Connect and match locations

  1. 1

    Open Google Business in Acerite

Go to the management area for the correct business workspace.

  2. 2

Sign in with the managing Google account

Review the permissions shown by Google and approve the connection.

  3. 3

    Match each location

Pair each Acerite location with the Google profile that has the same venue name and address.

  4. 4

    Run the first review sync

Wait for the connection status to confirm that reviews have been requested successfully.

  5. 5

    Verify with a known review

Check that a recent Google review appears under the correct Acerite location.

What the connection is used for

  • Receive new and existing Google reviews available through the connected profile.
  • Connect each review to the correct business and location.
  • Prepare, approve, schedule, and publish replies according to business policy.
  • Refresh profile and performance information when the connected access supports it.

If a new review does not appear immediately

A Google review first needs to be published and available to the connected Business Profile. Acerite then receives it during the next successful synchronization. This is not always instant.

Check the Google connection status, location mapping, last successful sync, and whether the review is visible publicly on the same Google profile. Reconnect only when Acerite says the authorization requires attention.
